Job Description
The Communications Agent's primary focus is receiving, recording, and disseminating pertinent operational information to station and company personnel.
This individual contributor will provide exceptional internal communication and customer service to flight crews, SOC, outstation, and other airline personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Create and maintain a strong culture of safety that incorporates "Ready, Safe, Go!"
Monitor all flights in progress for possible delays, weather, flight cancellations and other information to Seattle Station
Input arrival and departure information and coding delays into the SABRE computer system through Gatesheet
Monitor for and help resolve parking and gating issues
Load planning and pre-fueling functions including planning outbound cargo loads and calculating required fuel
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
1 year airline customer service experience
1 year dispatching or scheduling experience will be considered in lieu of airline customer service experience
Strong diplomacy, problem solving, and teamwork skills
Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide quality internal customer service
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum age of 18
Authorization to work in the U.S
Load planning and pre-fueling experience
Demonstrated knowledge of weather language and codes
Working knowledge of SABRE and IMAGE computer systems
