FlyDubai Cabin Crew (Madrid,Spain) Assessment Centre



The Cabin Crew Member is responsible to the Senior Cabin Crew Member, working as part of the cabin crew team, taking individual responsibility for the cabin operation and the associated customer experience. The Cabin Crew Member is also responsible for the safe and consistent delivery of a quality onboard service in accordance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. 


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Key Activities 

1. Responsible for safety and standards throughout the cabin. 

2. Responsible for maintaining their cabin crew license. 

3. Ensure compliance with company policy/procedures in accordance with the requirements specified in the CSPM. 

4. Maintain consistently high onboard standards. 

5. Ensure sales targets are met/exceeded. 

6. Show willingness to take and accept responsibility for crew/customers. 

7. Take the initiative to address difficult issues. 

8. Contribute to the cabin crews delivery of on time performance. 

9. Contribute to cabin crews delivery of customer service. 

10. Strive to maintain operational excellence and efficiency. 

11. Responsible for cash taken during the flight. 


Qualifications:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS 

Minimum Qualification 

• High school diploma 

Experience 

• International aviation experience is an advantage 

• 1 year experience in customer service or sales 

Knowledge / Skills 

• Able to deal with passengers professionally in a customer facing and sales role 

Additional Requirements 

• Fluent in written and spoken English 

• Basic numeracy skills 

• A valid passport allowing you to travel freely 

• Motivated, reliable, hardworking 

• Passionate, friendly & fun! 

• Excellent team player with the ability to communicate with many nationalities 

• Proud to wear the uniform & wear it well 

• No visible tattoos or body piercing which cannot be covered discreetly

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

While performing the duties of this job, the Cabin Crew will be operating in the aircraft cabin environment for extended periods of time. They are required to have a company ID and it is a requirement to have a good knowledge of the hazards the airside environment presents. He/she will also be operating the aircraft in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius and as high as 50 degree Celsius and will be required to fly at anytime during a 24 hour period subject to GCAA flight time limitations. There are multiple hazards when operating aircraft and the employee will be required to take all steps necessary to mitigate those hazards as far as possible. The employee may be required to operate in environments and countries designated at war zones

Overview

Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) together with flydubai have entered into a long-term pilot training agreement that offers commercial pilots interested in having an opportunity to fly for flydubai, with less than 1,500 flying hours, instruction on the Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Dubai-based flydubai began operations in 2009. Since its launch, flydubai has created a network of more than 85 destinations across 45 countries. The airline operates a modern fleet of more than 40 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft. flydubai strives to remove barriers to travel and enhance connectivity between different cultures across its ever-expanding network.
As flydubai’s training partner, CAE will provide flydubai with a select number of type-rated B737-800 pilots. Pilots interested in learning more about the programme, should read the following information carefully and complete the online registration form at the bottom of this page.

Second Officers Minimum Requirements :

  • Age: Minimum 20 years / Maximum 29 years
  • Must have flown 15 hours in an SE or ME aircraft in the last 12 months
  • Education: Minimum 12 years of successful education; aviation related degree will be preferred
  • ICAO Level 4 English or higher
  • Valid 1st Class Medical
  • CPL/ME-IR with 220 total flying hours + frozen ATPL/ ATP Written exam and MCC Course
  • Has not already gone through this B737NG programIn addition to the above requirements, you will need to obtain the below to have an opportunity to be assessed by flydubai.
  • B737 (600 – 900) type rating with minimum of 52 hours of Full Flight Simulator
  • B737 (600 – 900) type rating obtained from Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT)
  • B737 (600 – 900) Rating must be endorsed on the Foreign License prior to being hired by flydubai

Selection Process :

After obtaining a Boeing 737-800 type rating at the Dubai based facility, candidates recommended by Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) may be invited by flydubai to conduct a series of tests, which include aptitude, group exercise, aviation knowledge and a technical & competency interview.
Candidates will not be charged a selection fee, however other related costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) will be payable by the candidate..

The Course :

Successful candidates will be placed on one of the training courses. These courses start at various intervals throughout the year and run for approximately 6 months.
