Do you have what it takes to join our team? We are looking for motivated and dedicated crew schedulers to coordinate, communicate, and modify daily flight crew schedules to assure efficient manning and crew legality.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Support a safe and on-time operational schedule under the guidelines provided by Part 117 and Part 121 Federal Regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements and Company directives
Assign all open flying to legal crewmembers, resolve daily and monthly legality conflicts, adjust reserve coverage levels; reschedule or reassign crews to flights based on direction from the Crew Scheduling Supervisor, Crew Planner or Crew Scheduling Manager
Interact with Flight Operation, Inflight Services and crewmembers to communicate scheduling requirements: monitor crewmember check-ins to assure on-time flight departures and notify appropriate departments of crew attendance issues
Advise all crewmembers of any schedule assignments or reassignments; arrange down-line accommodations and book unscheduled crew positioning
Schedule flight crews in accordance with Federal Regulations and Company Flight Operations Manuals; Check daily crew assignments and reschedule crews to provide coverage as needed; ensure that flight crew duty hours are maintained within legal limits as determined by FAA Regulations
Provide professional and respectful customer service to all internal and external customers; works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of Silver Airways; correctly and courteously handles all incoming calls relating to crew scheduling
Maintains record for sick calls, personal absences, late and crew no shows
Perform tasks listed on daily and monthly checklists as directed; efficiently and correctly utilizes Raido to process crew assignments.
Job Requirements
Must be extremely flexible and able to work any shift in a 24/7 operations center environment, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Must be self-motivating and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must have and maintain a professional appearance. Excellent attendance and punctuality is required
Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems including Raido, Sabre, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Must be able to read, understand and apply Part 117 and Part 121 Federal Regulations
Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately to all levels of the organization
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship; must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen as well as a FBI Fingerprint & Criminal history background check
Must have a college degree or comparable operations experience
