Job Description
Compass Airlines is seeking qualified students for our Ambassador program. Ambassadors will assist the pilot recruiting efforts on and off their college campus. This program will present current flight students with the opportunity to gain experience working for a regional airline while assisting their future pilot endeavors.
The Ambassador position is responsible for branding and recruiting Compass Airlines in accordance with employment law regulation and recruiting principles. The Ambassador will attend and help organize any on-campus events and host informational sessions and/or class presentations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Constant branding and recruiting for Compass Airlines
Attend and help organize any on-campus events
Attends appropriate industry conferences, trade shows and other activities with the recruiting team as necessary
Campus social media presence
Host 1 information session and/or class presentation per semester
Manages routine inquiries on-campus regarding employment opportunities at Compass Airlines
Provides recruitment support to department as needed
Consistent communication with the Program Coordinator and/or the Pilot Recruiting Team
Job Requirements
Maintain a 2.5 or greater cumulative GPA. Calculate GPA online
Have a private pilot's license OR be in their junior year at school
Must be on a commercial pilot path.
Cannot be employed and/or working with another regional airline
Working knowledge of all social media platforms
Strong communication skills, verbal, written and listening
Ability to multi-task and set/follow priorities
Leadership role on campus
Involvement in aviation extra-curricular activities
Maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Calculate GPA online
Must have well developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
Interacts with external and internal candidates and all employees in a professional manner
Must be flexible with respect to work schedule and willing to assist and support other within the department when needed
Adherence of company standards
