Responsibilities 


To attend pre-flight briefing, during which Flight Attendant are assigned their working positions for the upcoming flight

To carrying out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy, ensuring that information in the seat pockets is up to date and that all meals and stock are on board

To welcome passengers on board and directing them to their seats;

To inform passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and ensuring that all hand luggage is
securely stored away;

To check all passenger seat belts and galleys are secure prior to take-off;

Make announcements on behalf of the pilot and answering passenger questions during
the flight;

To performs sales on meal & duty-free goods and advising passengers of any allowance
restrictions in force at their destination;

Reassuring passengers and ensuring that they follow safety procedures correctly in emergency
situations;

Ensure passengers disembark safely at the end of a flight and checking that there is no
luggage left in the overhead lockers; completing paperwork, including writing a flight report

Minimum requirements


Minimum age

The minimum age for Cabin Crew is 18 years.

Height/Weight

Minimum of 5 ft 2 in (157cm), maximum 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) with weight in proportion to height to enable you to fit into a standard cabin crew safety harness.

Appearance

You will be provided with the Company uniform and therefore you should be well presented with excellent standards of grooming and no visible tattoos.

Passport

Applicants will either need to be in possession of a full, valid EU passport with no restrictions or for non-EU passport holders, a valid work permit/visa that allows entry to all Flybe destinations. 

Health

A good level of health is essential to cope with the demands of flying.
With effect from 8th April 2021, EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) requires that any new entrant Cabin Crew who does not already hold a valid EU medical report, will be required to pass a Part-MED initial aeromedical assessment and provide the valid report before they can join Flybe and operate as Cabin Crew.

Swimming

Candidates must be confident in water and be able to swim at least 25 metres unaided.

Education

You must have a minimum of 3 GCSE's grade C (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics. 

Work experience

Have a minimum of 6 months face-to-face customer service experience, ideally in the sales and service industry.

Residential requirements

Successful applicants must live within 60 minutes travelling time to their base (home) airport.

Driving licence

You must have a full, valid Driving Licence as you may be required on occasion to drive a hire car between airport bases.

Wizz Air is continuously searching for cheerful, energetic and positive candidates for
Flight Attendant / Cabin Crew positions for our Central and Eastern European bases:
Cabin Crew key responsibilities:
  • Proper execution of the duties related to the safety of the aircraft (A320/A321) and the passengers
  • Maintain excellent customer service and creating “home atmosphere” on-board of the aircraft
  • Assist passengers who require special attention
  • Sales on-board, and cash handling
  • Punctuality and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Keep the aircraft clean and tidy during the flight
  • Be adequately  rested and properly groomed in order to conduct a flight
  • Performance of all the duties maintaining consistently the highest ethical standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Minimum height for ladies 1.65m and for gentleman 1.75m
  • Arm reach of 210cm while standing on tiptoes
  • Minimum high school degree
  • Fluent English both written and spoken, additional CEE language knowledge (either Romanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Slovak, Czech, Macedonian, Serbian, Ukrainian, Georgian, or Bosnian)
  • Valid passport without limitations (minimum 6 months)
  • Tattoos and piercing are acceptable provided they appear on parts of the body that are not visible when wearing uniform.
  • Ability to swim
  • Live or ready to move within 60 minutes of your chosen base and prepared to make this journey every day, at any time of the day
  • Customer service experience will be an advantage
  • Please note that if you wear glasses or contact lenses and your prescription are above +4 or below -4 you are likely to fail the mandatory medical examination

Remuneration & Service Benefits

During training, you will receive a basic salary. Upon graduation and commencement of duties, you will  be given various allowances, bringing your monthly package to approximately SGD$4,500 -SGD$5,000, depending on flight patterns and flying hours.

You will be based in Singapore and offered a 5-year employment contract initially. Additional 5-year contracts may be offered based on job performance. Apart from competitive remuneration, you will be granted free travel to any SIA destination once a year and enjoy discounted travel at other times. There is an attractive annual leave scheme, medical and dental treatment scheme, as well as comprehensive training programmes.

Minimum requirements:

  • Hong Kong permanent resident and passport holder with right of abode in Hong Kong
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 HKDSE NSS subjects including English Language (“attained” for ApL subjects or Grade E for other language subjects) OR
  • Grade E in 5 HKCEE subjects (including level 2 or above in English language) or equivalent 
  • Fluency in English and, either Japanese, Korean or Cantonese, is required (Mandarin is preferable)
  • Minimum arm-reach of 208 cm and physical fitness to pass the pre-employment medical assessment
  • Polished interpersonal skills with a positive and customer-orientated attitude
  • Previous experience in service industry is an added advantage

 Job Requirements
  • For safety and security reasons, females should be at least 158cm and males should be at least 165cm.
  • You should have least 4 GCE 'N' Levels with Credit in English, proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
  • No prior experience required, experienced crew will be considered for supervisory roles.
