Senior, New Hire Pilot Interviewer – This position will serve as part of the Delta Professional Services –Flight Operations Support component of the Delta Air Lines pilot hiring interview team. Workload is dependent upon the level of New Hire Pilot Interviews. There is no guaranteed minimum level of work, stated or implied.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:
Completes initial and annual recurrent interview training, provided to Pilot Selection team members.
Asks and evaluates interview questions provided by the Pilot Selection group to prospective Delta Air Lines pilots in order to determine if the candidate would be a good fit for Delta Air Lines and adhere to company core values.
Review information obtained in compliance with the Pilot Records Improvement Act of 1996 (PRIA).
Participate in Quality Assurance and Compliance reviews/audits of the interview process.
Provide input to initial and annual recurrent interview training.
Perform the functions of Recurrent Training Coordinator.
Job Requirements
Previous experience as a qualified interviewer.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Able to participate in pilot interviews, at the Delta General Offices in Atlanta, for prospective Delta Air Lines pilots.
